Unable to Link Jira to Bitbucket 5.14 with reciprocal link is missing

Ramana Rainn October 8, 2018

We recently installed Bitbucket 5.14 on new server and we implemented SSL certificate on Bitbucket with https.. We would like to link the Jira to Bitbucket for CI/CD process.

As part of this process, we uploaded Jira certicates to default Java Keystore D:\Atlassian\Bitbucket\5.14.0\jre\lib\security\cacerts and also uploaded Bitbucket keystore which is used for https. We also uploaded Bitbucket certificate to Jira keystore

Now when we try to link Bitbucket from Jira and we are getting below error.

" we can't connect with Bitbucket because a reciprocal application link is missing on that server. You'll need to delete and then re-create this application link"

Can you please advise on this.

Hi Ramana,

Thanks for reaching out here.

What version of JIRA are you creating the link with ?

This is an issue with Application link creation. To get more details on the actual cause of this, remove the Application link, and then try recreating it.

When recreating the Application link , take a look at the log files from the instances and add to this comment the block of the logs when the application links were being recreated.

Kind Regards,
Victor
