Unable to connect Bitbucket Cloud to Jira Cloud

Hi all. When I try to connect my Bitbucket Cloud to Jira Cloud (in the integrations section) I get the following error:

The add-on failed to be installed: Error calling installed at URL /rest/aci/1.0/installation/jira-bitbucket-connector-plugin/install: 403 Client Error: Forbidden

Am I missing something?

Generally this happens in a scenario where JIRA and Bitbucket have gotten out of sync somehow i.e. JIRA thinks the integration has been installed but not approved by the JIRA admin but Bitbucket has no record of the installation.

The fix is to go to the JIRA DVCS Accounts page (admin -> applications -> DVCS accounts) and remove the Bitbucket integration there if it exists. Then go to the Bitbucket integrations (settings -> manage addons) and remove the JIRA integration there if it exists. 

This will set them both to a clean state and you should then be able to install the integration.

I got same problem. Where I can find that admin? (admin -> applications -> DVCS accounts)where is admin.png

Hi @Petr Havlát, you have the project admin section open. I was referring to the instance admin which you reach from the cog in the top right:

You can also reach the dvcs accounts page with the '.' menu by typing 'dvcs' - http://blogs.atlassian.com/2012/08/jira-tip-of-the-month-dot-and-comma-dialog-shortcuts/
