Unable to delete or push into repository as it is "currently not available"

ISCOPE GmbH May 14, 2025

So we moved a lot of repositories into our new bitbucket account to prepare it for internal use, unfortunateley at least one repository did not get created properly.

The repository is unavailable via CLI and loads indefenetely if I try to access it via GUI, thus not being able to delete or change it.

Very similar to this problem: https://community.atlassian.com/forums/Bitbucket-questions/Unable-to-delete-Git-repositories-due-to-Repository-currently/qaq-p/2654436

Is there any solution for that?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @ISCOPE GmbH

Welcome to the community.

Could you please provide the masked repository name you're unable to access?

For example: repo_name (re*****me)

Regards,
Mark C

Hello @Mark C

The repository name would be the repository isc_utility in our workspace.

Do you need any additional information or consent to help out?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Mark C

The previous answer was posted via a different account from our employee who is also an administrator for our workspace.

The repository is indeed the repository isc_utility in our workspace.

What information can we share to help you solve this issue for us?

Thank you in advance.

Hi @ISCOPE GmbH and @Lars Höllman

I can see the repository is indeed stuck in "Creating" state, hence, you're unable to access it nor push against it.

For that, I went ahead and deleted the empty repository on my end.

You may try to re-import the repository again.

Regards,
Mark C
