Unable to remove Bitbucket PR and Commit from JIRA Issue

I accidentally raised a new Bitbucket Pull Request against the wrong JIRA Issue.

I've seen various posts here on how you can re-write your git history of the existing PR (example: [How to remove a JIRA issue associated to my Bitbucket Server](How to remove a JIRA issue associated to my Bitbucket Server)). However in my case, the PR was merged some time back, and therefore the commit history sits on HEAD of my `master` branch.

Any help on this issue would

Could you please let me know:

• is the wrong JIRA issue referenced only in messages of commits of this PR?
• or is it also referenced in the description and/or title of the PR?
• also, has the source branch been deleted after the merge or not?
