Uncheck checkbox for pull request branch deletion on merge option

We recently migrated to 7.6.10 LTS version and found that by default "branch deletion on merge" checkbox is checked . Currently we don't need this option as checked. I know there are tickets opened for this request. For workaround we are trying to resolve thro custom script listener code. If some one has done changes ,Can you pls share groovy code for this.

It might be possible to amend that example to handle the "branch deletion on merge" checkbox instead?
