Hi,
I'm having trouble logging into my BitBucket account that I haven't used for several years.
I get this error when logging in:
Bitbucket
We couldn’t log you in
You may run into this issue when you use specific browsers or add-ons that hide the referer header for id.atlassian.com and other Atlassian sites. Check for these and then try logging in again.
I've read many other posts that state that this could mean my bitbucket account is inactive. Could you pleae reactivate it so that I can log in?
I've tried 3 browsers and they all have the same error.
Thanks
James
Welcome to the community.
I can see that your Bitbucket Cloud account is marked as a Dormant account due to not logging in to Bitbucket.org for a long period of time.
I went ahead and reactivated your account, could you try logging in again?

Mark C

Hey @James Collins ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community. I'm sorry to hear your bitbucket account has been inactivated.
You'll need to create a support ticket for this though as this is a user community with no ability to re-activate accounts.
You can file a ticket here: https://www.atlassian.com/company/contact
I hope this will be fixed soon.
Cheers,
Peter

Unfortunately I have a free BitBucket account so wasn't able to submit a support ticket.
There's been a lot of other threads in the community where Atlassian staff have been able to reactivate accounts. Hopefully they can do the same with this thread too.

Hey @James Collins ,
