Hi Iris,

Are you looking at deploying your Bitbucket's SQL server database on a dedicated hardware? If you already have a SQL server that is serving for other applications in your organisation, you can simply create a new database on it for Bitbucket. I do not see specific hardware requirements for the database, but it's a worth to look at this document;

Bitbucket Server doesn't have any specific version requirement for SQL Server. See https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/supported-platforms-details-779362568.html#id-2017-11-24_01-24-29_Supportedplatformsdetails-MSSQL for more details.

You might want to check the installation instructions for the DB if you need to know the HW requirements for installing SQL Server.
