Why I am getting mail when I merge a Pull Request?

From a few days back I am getting the mail each time when I merge a pull request. I am not the one who created the PR or not the reviewer. Is this an issue?

If you are referring to Bitbucket Cloud, our dev team confirmed that this is a new behavior that our product will have. From now on, all actions will be notified. We understand that it may not be optimal and for that reason we have already raised a feature request asking for the ability to opt-out this new feature:

I would suggest that you add your vote there (by selecting the Vote for this issue link) as the number of votes helps the development team and product managers better understand the demand for new features. 

You are more than welcome to leave any feedback, and you can also add yourself as a watcher (by selecting the Start watching this issue link) if you'd like to get notified via email on updates.

Implementation of new features is done as per our policy here and any updates will be posted in the feature request.

Bitbucket Data Center and Server sends email notifications to the author, reviewers, and watchers of a pull request when the below events occur.

It says when the event 'The pull request is merged' occurs,' The watchers of the pull request' will get mail.
I am not a watcher of the PR. But I get the Mail.
