When I mouse over my name/avatar on the commits page, it says, "this user cannot be matched to an Atlassian account."  However, I have one; its the one I use to log in to bitbucklet in the first place.  Its the same one I'm using to ask this question.  How can I get my name to show up?

Thanks.

Hi Kevin, welcome to the Community!

It's possible that the email address you used to push your commits is not mapped to your Bitbucket username. Bitbucket Cloud can't map a user's commits in the if

1) the user who makes the commit hasn't configured their DVCS username and validated their email address

or

2) the user changed their primary email alias in Bitbucket but not in their DVCS config file.

You'll need to follow the instructions in the article Map existing commits to username aliases.

Let us know if that helped you.

Best regards,

Ana
