Hi Bitbucket support,
What is the easiest way to setup Bitbucket Server to run over https ?
I was looking at https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/securing-bitbucket-server-behind-nginx-using-ssl-776640112.html but it mentions a bitbucket.properties file that I don't have. In that case - What is the way easiest to generate it, and hopefully without migrating ?

Hi,
As mentioned in above comment you shouldn't use embedded database.
You can host apache/nginx infront of bitbucket and configure ssl certificates in proxy. Then you can reverse proxy the request to tomcat.
Hi Erik,
If you're using the embedded database (which is not recommended for production use), you will not have the bitbucket.properties file, and you'll just need to create it in the location specified.
