Since I moved from an academic institution to a different one, my previous email is no longer active. Therefore, I am unable to access to my Atlassian account.
When I try to access, i get "We've emailed you a code", which clearly does not help me.

Access to the email associated with your account is required, and authentication is mandatory. Unfortunately, if you don't have access to that email, you can't complete the authentication, and you will not be able to recover your account.
I would suggest creating a new workspace and pushing any local repositories you may have stored to this new workspace.
