how to get actor information in merge check using forge app

My requirement is to block the merge for a pull request for the user who has raised the pull request and he himself is approving and merging. Note that user will also part of approver list.

Not really a direct answer to your question, but you might also try to post your question on the Developer Community.

Also, the default 'Minimum number of approvals' merge check in Bitbucket already behaves like that - wouldn't this work for you?
