hugo build and deploy ftp pipeline

I have a hugo website source repository in BB cloud. I need a pipeline to:

• build a static website from these to some directory in BB cloud
• copy this directory to another server via ftp, like in ftp-deploy

I have found that someone may have already an image to perform these, but this is not even half of the solution. I know little of either pipelines or hugo, so a tested pipeline would suit me best to be sure that any errors are caused elsewhere.

Thanks for your interest. I did not at all mean to ask about anything related to the hugo static site generator as it too simple for me to use. I asked only for help to use Bitbucket Pipelines, as many other users do ask around here.

Hope this gets you convinced to start assisting those users and providing more direct examples of pipeline workflows.

As you're seeking information on how to build a website using the Hugo framework, my advice would be to contact them for any help regarding how to create this pipeline. You can start by browsing their Pipelines page. If you have more questions, please reach out to their support team who will be able to assist you better on how to build a website using their framework.

Once you have it, you can continue on Bitbucket side by following Get started with Bitbucket Pipelines. 

Regarding ftp-deploy, if you experience any issues while using it, remember to let us know what do you need exactly, and if relevant include:

• the version of the pipe
• relevant logs and error messages
• steps to reproduce
