We are implementing Bitbucket for a small team. There are JIRA and Confluence instances department wide.
The Bitbucket install was configured to integrate with Jira. When I go to the Users list in Bitbucket, all JIRA users are listed.
Was planning on just getting a 10 user license. Will all these JIRA users count against that?
Hi Ben,
I got some good news for you
You can use JIRA (or crowd) as a user server and add all the groups per user that they need.
Based on those groups the user will, or will not get access to an application.
And only if the user is in a group that gives access to that application it will be counted as a user.
So if you put a user in the user or admin group for Bitbucket he will get access to that application and only then the user will be counted
The same goes for all other Atlassian apps by the way.
Regards
Dave
