pipeline, how to set timeout between merges

Some time we have a lot of commits in short time.

Is there any option in bitbucket-pipeline to set some type of timeout between commits?

This option is not available yet - please watch and vote for the following issue to guide Atlassian's roadmap in this regard:

• Limit the number of concurrent pipelines per branch (#12821) (Andrew James' comment summarizes the common expectation how this should be configurable via quiet time and number of simultaneous builds)

While you are waiting for 12821 you will be able to save on build minutes by either:

• Pushing less, as builds are triggered by pushing changes.
• Adding [skip ci] to you commit message. See FAQ Can I skip builds?
