"Diff too large" randomly in pull requests

BitBucket PRs have started to randomly refuse displaying the diff for some files, which are nowhere near the stated limits. "Randomly", as in it only happens with some files and sometimes (but not always) a page refresh fixes the issue.

For example, the `.gitmodules` file in the screenshot below only had 22 lines previously, which comes to 25 with the 3 insertions.

We recently received some reports from other users as well about PRs showing as large, while they are within our limits.

Our engineering team is investigating, I will let you know as soon as we have an update.

Just a heads up, the link you shared applies to Bitbucket Server and Data Center only. The diff limits for Bitbucket Cloud can be found here:

I can see on your screenshot that this specific diff doesn't exceed the limit on the number of files or the changed lines.
