requesting GC after cleanup of repo

andydent April 10, 2025

I have the same problem as mentioned in a few threads having cleaned up some very old big stuff on [REDACTED] using BFG as per your excellent guide to repo maintenance.

Seems as a free user I'm unable to contact support directly so would appreciate someone passing along my details to get that GC'd.

I ran a couple of passes of BFG so have made my violation of 1GB limit vastly worse due to pushing back from the mirror!

Happy to become paid user once I get monetisation up a bit to get past the spousal filter ;-)

I have deleted a couple of other repos, one of which I'll recreate as LFS because I was pushing design artefacts.

thanks, and sorry for the overhead 😳

Hi @andydent

I can see that the repository is now only 319MB. There's a good chance that an automated gc has executed in the backend due to the maximum number of garbage threshold being reached.

I can see your workspace is only consuming ~670MB so is within the workspace size limit.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Cheers!

Having the same problem, and seeing there is a high demand on this topic.
Any place we -can- contact the support ourselves to get our repos cleaned up?
