Hi
In bitbucket we have version 4.14.12 installed and we want to update to the latest available version, 7.7, can you tell us a guide on how we can skip so many versions please?
Thank you very much and greetings
Hi Daniel,
You can update from any previous version of bitbucket to 7.7, so you won't need an update path.
Here's the full documentation from atlassian:

Two important things to look out for:
1. Since you're moving form a very old version of bitbucket you'll want to ensure your versions of Git, Java, and DB are compatible with bitbucket 7.7. If anything is not compatible you'll want to make sure you update that during your bitbucket update.
Supported platforms: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/supported-platforms-776640981.html
2. With Bitbucket 5 the application moves from storing setting in a server.xml file to storing them in a bitbucket.properties file. You'll have to manually migrate any customizations into the btibucket.properties file:
More info here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/migrate-server-xml-customizations-to-bitbucket-properties-897811761.html
As always you'll want to create a update plan and test in a lower environment first before attempting the update in production.
