Hi Dhiraj, for Bitbucket Server we don't impose any limitation, as the repos are hosted on your own servers, however we advise against large repos as they can slow or crash your machine depending on how big they are.
If the reason your repositories are so big is that you have binary files, we'd recommend you to use LFS. This is available for Bitbucket Cloud and you can read more about it at Git Large File Storage in Bitbucket and Current limitations for Git LFS.
Hope that helps! Let us know if anything is not clear and we'll be glad to help!
Regards,
Ana

Hi Dhiraj!
Bitbucket Cloud has a limitation of 2GB maximum size for each repository, so it won't be possible to clone a repo if it's 2GB or larger.
If the repos are under 2GB the solutions proposed at Git clone fails fatal the remote end hung up unexpectedly.
Let us know if you have any questions!
Kind regards,
Ana
