Release Cycle of Bitbucket

Hello,

I am interested in how frequently new versions (major, minor, bugifx) of Bitbucket are released per year. Is it fixed amount and fixed date?

Hello Marko,

The question of how frequent product release occurs is a great one. The short answer is, it depends on what is in the queue for the next release along with if there are any CVE related items needing to be addressed. This will impact both cloud and server products. Cloud products naturally have a shorter release cycle than server, while server has a longer release cycle due to the nature of the product.
