Remote debug on spring boot

Vladislav Khevuk August 1, 2017

Dear Community,
We are faced up with issue, when we need to debug plugin remotely on stash. Previously we use jpda (https://confluence.sakaiproject.org/display/BOOT/Setting+Up+Tomcat+For+Remote+Debugging) for this, but from stash 5.x version we cannot use it, because stash not working on tomcat yet.
So, do you know about how to remote debug?
This solution (https://docs.spring.io/spring-boot/docs/current/reference/html/using-boot-running-your-application.html) is not possible for us, because we want to debug our plugin on working stash application.
Thanks.

When stash (before 5.x release) was on tomcat we used jpda for debugging plugins.
Now we cannot find any way to debug plugins.
Could you, please, advice what we must to do?
This solution is not possible for us , because we want to test it on running stash server.
Thanks.
