I'm cleaning my repo to try to fit into new size limits. So I used BFG cleaner to strip some large files from history and then did push --force.

Before that I checked the repo size in Bitbucket console - it was 2.2 Gb. Now it's 3.5 Gb.

Similar posts say that git gc needs to be launched on Bitbucket so could anyone please do this for me? Or is there any way for me to launch\trigger it myself without asking for support everytime cause I have 5-6 more repos to clean up :)

The repo name is CatPow. Thank you in advance.

Hi @kumade

Welcome to the community.

I went ahead and run GC against your remote repository.

Could you check the size now?

Hi Mark!

Thank you for doing the GC run but could you please do it again. I removed even more files so now locally my repo is just around 130mb, while I see around 2GB on bitbucket console
