Hey there,
I've noticed two of my repos are presenting the "Large repository" alert, in order to fix it, I looked up ways on how to reduce a repository size. The most advised is to remove large files or use tools such as BFG. In my case, I've deleted some old branches in the repositories to reduce their size, both almost reaching the 4GB imit.
Could you please run a manual garbage collection on them?
- Repositories:
'dash-main'
'sac-dashboard'
Please let me know if there’s anything else I should do on my end (e.g. history rewriting with BFG or git filter-repo). Thanks in advance for your help!
Best regards,
Victor
Hi @victorps
Welcome to the community.
I've run Git GC against those 2 repos.
However, their sizes remains the same.
Could you try following the documentation here on removing large files in your repositories?
Let me know once done so we can run Git GC again.
Regards,
Mark C
