Hi i have already removed a lot of space from our workspace but it keeps showing that we have more than 1GB. I'm requesting to run the Garbage Collection to update the value to the real one please.

Thanks!

Hey Muhammad! I totally get the frustration - this is a pretty common issue where the storage calculations don't update immediately after you delete stuff.

Unfortunately, regular users can't trigger garbage collection manually  that's something only Atlassian support can do on the backend. You'll need to raise a support ticket with them directly and they can run the cleanup process to refresh your actual storage usage.

In the meantime, make sure you've also emptied the trash/recycle bin if your workspace has one, since deleted items sometimes sit there still counting toward your storage limit until they're permanently removed.

When you contact support, mention that you've already cleaned up files but the storage quota isn't reflecting the changes - they're pretty good about running the garbage collection quickly once they understand the situation.

Hope that helps get your storage numbers back to reality!

Hi, I'm having this problem too. But I can't contact support as I'm not a Premium user. How can I contact support?
