Hi Atlassian Support,
I've cleaned up some of my repositories and would appreciate it if you could run garbage collection to help reduce the overall size.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Kind regards,
Hi @vid_ribic
Welcome to the community!
I've run garbage collection on the only repository I found over 1 GB, and the repository size has reduced to 79.9 MB. Is this the size of the local repository?
You can check by running the following command on the local repository:
git count-objects -vH
The "size-pack" will show the local repository size.
Before proceeding with the next push to the remote repository, please ensure that you and all repository collaborators make a fresh clone of the remote repository to avoid reintroducing old/cleaned-up history and potentially inflating the repository size again.

Hi Phil,
Thanks a lot for your help!
Could you also please run garbage collection on all my repositories larger than 150 MB? I've cleaned up several of them, and it would be great to reduce their size as well.
Thanks again for your support!
Kind regards,
Vid

Hi Vid,
I identified 4 repositories over 150 MB and I've run garbage collection on those repositories significantly reducing the sizes. All repositories on the workspace are currently under 150 MB.
I hope this helps.
