Restart embedded ElasticSearch without restarting Bitbucket?

Hey,

Our embedded ElasticSearch has stopped working in our BB instance (5.8.0). Is there a way to restart the Search service without having to restart the entire Bitbucket instance? We are running BB on a CentOS box.

Hi @Svante Gustafsson,

In the most recent versions of Bitbucket Server, it is not possible to restart only Elasticsearch without restarting whole Bitbucket. 

 

When required, please restart the entire application. It should only take a short time for Bitbucket Server to be back up and running.
