Hello,

I received an email from Atlassian that my organization has been deleted
How can I restore the organization?

Keeping your data regularly backed up is a smart habit - it gives you peace of mind knowing that if something goes wrong, like accidental deletion or other issue, you can easily recover everything to the same account, a different one, or even your local environment. There are some backup solutions for Bitbucket on Atlassian Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?query=Bitbucket%20backup

I have the same question.

My organization with organization ID: a6a93j5c-5164-1c59-kadj-c35dc76ad4j4 has been removed. I need you to restore it to get my code on Bitbucket back!

Here is what I tried:

https://support.atlassian.com/contact/#/

> Technical issues and bugs: I tried almost all services bitbucket.org/xcapite, xcapite.atlassian,net, to no avail (URL not found)

> My account: Here I tried the following two options and created a ticket for each

>> Your Account > Reactivate Subscription

>> Other

It is not obvious at all how to do this and I hope that at least someone answering my two tickets will be able to restore my organization.

Below is the email I received on June 1st:

xCapite has been deleted due to inactivity
xCapite has been deemed inactive after having no apps or managed accounts in the last 180 days.

In an effort to clean up inactive organizations and increase productivity, xCapite has been deleted.

If you want to see your remaining organizations, you can do so by going to ... The deleted organization (xCapite) will no longer be visible in Atlassian Administration.

If you want to keep your organization, we suggest you contact support within 15 days from receiving this email.


When you contact support, include your organization ID: a6a93j5c-5164-1c59-kadj-c35dc76ad4j4.

Hello @Vasile Boianjiu 

You can restore the organization within 15 days of its deletion, but will have to reach out to Atlassian support. If it is more than 15 days, the chances are bleak but give Atlassian support a try.
