Hi,

We have Bitbucket with 8nodes in a cluster and its been observed that bitbucket is running on 3 nodes today, while the rest 5 are tripped off from the cluster(PFA).

Having see this, we have tried to stop/start the nodes that were out of cluster, post to which they joined back to cluster. Now that we have 8nodes in cluster.

So, the point here is, now a days we see the nodes moving out of cluster every now and then. Can you please assist us on this at the earliest and let us know why we are seeing this behavior on nodes within the cluster.

Kindly let us know if you require any information from our end.

In the interim, we will take thread dumps and send over.

Thanks in forehand.

Hi Venkata

Without the applications logs and configuration, we may not be able to conclude exactly what is causing this issue. I would suggest raising a support ticket using https://support.atlassian.com/ and provide the logs.

If you have started seeing this issue recently, you may check the following

  • Any network changes around that time you started seeing this issue
  • Have you added any new node to the cluster around that time? If tha's the case try removing it and see whether it fix the issue.
  • Any filesystem level issues in the log

You may check individual node host health as well. Because a faulty node can cause issues in the cluster.
