Prior to our upgrade to STASH 3.6.1, the pull request title would default to the branch name. Now the pull request title defaults to the git commit message. Our processes are around this branch name, not a non-descriptive or to descriptive commit message. Is there a way to switch this functionality back to the Pull Request title being the branch name?
The title of the PR defaults to the commit message only if there is one commit in the PR. If there are multiple, it still has the branch name as the default.
Currently, there is no way to switch this off, but you are not the only one who would like this to happen. Please create an item here and post the link in a comment so others can vote for it.
Jennifer created https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/STASH-7087 to track this. Thanks for that Jennifer, and thanks Balazs for suggesting it!
