Would it be relatively straightforward to upgrade to latest version?

Yes. You just need to follow our Upgrade Guide. We highlight on it:
You can update from any previous version to the latest version of Stash.
As you use an older version of Stash, don't forget to perform a cold backup of your instance as described in the document below:
