We are migrating our on-prem BitBucket Sever (version 6.10) to AWS Outposts. The challenge we have is AWS Outposts does not support postgres version lower than 12.7
And BitBucket 6.10 does not work well with postgres version 13.*. If I upgrade the Bitbucket version to 7.6.0 would it work with postgres 12.7 ? since the support document has 9.5 - 12 as supported versions. So I am not sure if that 0.7 difference in postgres version will make any significant issues to BitBucket DB performance ?
Please advice.
For now I decided to just migrate the BitBucket server and point it to old DB. And then eventually update the BitBucket version and then migrate to supported version of Postgres.
