Trouble with Active Directory groups

Hello!

I'm user bitbucket server 5.8.0. Internal user directory and Active Directory. Working with users is fine. Trying to get groups from AD. It is return right amount of user's groups at test when set connection properties. Also i can't create group in Bitbucket internal user directory with the same name like AD's group. So connect is good.

But how i can choose AD's group at project security properties? It return only groups from internal directory. Also when i try create group, i see in network traffic request to ldap server. But when i try add group in project security settings have not any request to ldap server.

Thanks for reaching out here.

But how i can choose AD's group at project security properties? 

To add group to project permission, navigate to Project Settings > select Project Permission and from Group access section of the page, type in the group name and select the group to add. Select the permission level from the drop down (Read, Write, Admin) and use the Add button to add the group the project permission.

Also when i try create group, i see in network traffic request to ldap server. But when i try add group in project security settings have not any request to ldap server.

If you can add a screenshot, or a clearer explanation will help in our understanding of this issue.

After waiting some time i see groups from AD in user's groups. It seems like we must wait some time for some syncronization.

Yes this is true, it is relative to the number of groups and users to be synchronized
