Unable to clone a bitbucket GIT repo

Mohammed Jamaludeen April 5, 2018

I am trying to download the source code via Atlassian Source Tree but I am getting an error "Failed to connect to bitbucket.org port 443: Timed out". It appears that it requires SSH key setup. Can anyone please help ??

Source Path URL: https://bitbucket.org/tngtech-atlassian-add-ons/barcharts-for-jira.git

Hi Mohammed,

Based on the error you're trying to clone via HTTP, so no SSH key is needed. Also based on the error it looks like there are connection issues between the machine you're running git clone on and Bitbucket Server, which can be the result of a firewall preventing access for instance.

Cheers,
