Use BitBucket free plan and AWS CodeBuild

addless October 31, 2019

I'm currently using GitLab (the free plan) and running my back end on AWS. There is no easy way to integrate GitLab repos with AWS CodeBuild while I have seen that it is possible to do with BitBucket (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/codebuild/latest/userguide/sample-bitbucket-pull-request.html). Is there any limits in the BitBucket free plan that would inhibit integration with AWS CodeBuild?

Hi @addless , welcome to the Community!

I'm not sure to what kind of limitations you might be referring,, but here is our page on the limitations we have in Bitbucket Cloud: What kind of limits you have?

Are there any other limits you need to be aware of for the integration with AWS Codebuild?

Let us know,

Ana

Hi Ana!

Thank you very much for your reply. I mean if there is any limitations on these types of integration on the free account. I'm considering moving my repos from GitLab to Bitbucket so that I can setup AWS CodeBuild. I just want to make sure that it is possible to setup Bitbucket with AWS CodeBuild before I move the repos from GitLab to Bitbucket.

M

Hi M,

The only limitation you'll find in the free plan is the number of users that can have access to your repositories. For everything else, it's the same as a Standard account.

Hope that helps!

Ana
