Why am I not receiving e-mail's from certain trello boards?

I have read that there are ways to have a board send e-mail notifications.  I am receiving e-mail notifications from certain Trello boards, while not for others.  Is there a setting per board that I am missing?

For the boards you're not getting notifications from, are you watching them?  In order to get notifications, you need to watch the board, a list on a board, or a specific card.  See more at https://help.trello.com/article/793-receiving-trello-notifications
