Why can't i view diff's in stash when the path has a space in it

I'm currently on "Atlassian Stash v3.9.1", and whenever viewing a pull request, when trying top view the diff for a file that contains a space in it's path, it simply fails to load it.

E.g. "My Files/myfile.html" won't load, but "MyFiles/myfile.html" will.

First of all, that's a pretty old version of Bitbucket Server you have (still called Stash back then)!

There's been several bugs filed for issues similar to that one where white spaces created some kind of problem, one of those can be found at BSERV-7923.

In this specific ticket I'm linking to you the issue was related to Firefox, is that the case for you?:

1. Are you using Firefox or a different browser?
2. Can you try a different browser?
3. Is there anything preventing you from upgrading to a newer version?

I believe it is browser specific, as a colleague has told me it works fine in internet explorer, i'll chase with my own internal infrastructure team to upgrade our version of stash to see if that resolves the issue first. Thanks for the response!
