Why wont Sourcetree remember my password?

I'm using Sourcetree version 2.1.10.0 on Windows 7 Enterprise

When I attempt to fetch changes, I am met with the error message: 

fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://mduguay@stash.mysoft.net/ire/imsacnt/demo-repository.git/'

I then go to Tools > Options > Authentication

I add an account with all the correct information.

When I click Edit > Refresh Password, I am prompted for my password.

I enter my password, make sure Remember password is checked, then hit Login.

I see "Authentication OK" on the Edit Hosting Account screen

However, when I attempt to fetch again, I get the same error:

fatal: Authentication failed for 'https://mduguay@stash.mysoft.net/ire/imsacnt/demo-repository.git/'

If I navigate back to Tools > Options > Authentication and Edit my account again, I see the message "Login Failed"

I can hit Refresh Password, enter it again, get the "Authentication OK" message, but Fetching (or performing any other operation) throws the authentication failed message.

Why does authentication fail when performing git operations after I enter my password? Why does the status reset to "Login failed" after I attempt to perform a git operation?
