Xcode 12 GM hangs trying to create a BitBucket account

Trying to create a BitBucket Cloud account in Xcode 12 GM with my username and app password it hangs until I cancel.  My real password is rejected immediately.

This worked fine in previous Xcode 11 versions (real password)

Hello,

You mention password and app password for an existing account, so I believe you are trying to add to XCode an existing Bitbucket Cloud account (instead of creating a new account)?

Do you get any error message that could give us an indication of what is going wrong?

My suggestion here would be to also contact Xcode support. Since the error occurs in this application, they'll be able to tell you if there are any application logs that could give some insight on why this action fails, whether there is a bug or if this might be a configuration issue.
