I performed a 'hg push' and then aborted because it was taking a long time.
Then I tried again and recieved this message:
$ hg push https://user@bitbucket.org/user/repository
pushing to https://user@bitbucket.org/user/repository
abort: HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error
A few minutes later it was fixed automatically.
I am wondering if this is a common issue and whether it always fixes itself automatically?
If this occurs and does not fix itself in a timely manner, is there a method to manually fix this myself? For example, could I roll back my local copy and recommit?
I am asking because I am worried that this might occur and it will not fix itself. I worry about a long period of down time. I am wondering if there is a way to manually fix this issue myself.
If it always just fixes itself... then nevermind.
We had a short outage earlier which would have resulted in timeouts and 500 errors. This was resovled in about 5 minutes. Keep an eye on http://status.bitbucket.org/ and Twitter: @bitbucket for information about outages and news.
