git push pull needs admint o sign to approve for a user that already has write privs to repo

user with write login to bitbucket repository is doing a git cmd push and pull and each time he does it pprompts for admin password  but uncertain why

Hi Thomas,

If he's being prompted every time it might mean that his credentials are not stored correctly in his credential manager. He can have a look at this article from our documentation where we explain two methods for permanently authenticating with Git repositories so that he can avoid typing his credentials each time: Permanently authenticating with git repositories

If he's still having issues after that, could you answer the following?: 

1. What version of git does he have?
2. What version of the Git Credential manager does he have? 
3. Can you send a screenshot?
