how to attach seprate tag to particular file?

I have following directory structure.

C:\source

1.Test.java want to attach tag1.1

2.App.java want to attach tag1.2

C:\doc

1.svn.pdf want to attach tag1.3

how can I achive above requirnment?

You can't. Tags are "tagged" to a commit. Not files.

What if I need to tag perticular file.

Do I need to write a plugin for that?
