This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Running the Bitbucket Server installer
How to install Bitbucket server without internet access? The installer program hangs after display the following error message.
2017-01-05 18:10:01,009 INFO [Thread-7] o.a.http.impl.execchain.RetryExec I/O exception (java.net.NoRouteToHostException) caught when processing request to {s}->https://www.atlassian.com:443: No route to host
Based on that "install from an archive file" page, I have successfully installed Bitbucket 4.12 on RedHat VM without X-Window server and internet access. That document has some minor out-dated information. As long as the admin has working on Tomcat before they should able to bring it up.
Tips (in that doc): the $BITBUCKET_HOME should not point to Bitbucket software install directory.
Thx.
I've never done so, but my gut feel is the install from an archive file method: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserver/install-bitbucket-server-from-an-archive-file-776640148.html
