"Force" removal of branches after successful merge

Hi Atlassian & Community,

We are using Bitbucket for years now. It has been a pleasure, especially with the Pipelines integration. But, there is always room for improvement!

Right now one of our primary source of irritation is the branches-littering. Unfortunately, we can't force the check (when updating or creating PRs) to "remove branch when merged". For us, allowing this minor check to set in repository merge settings would be a tremendous improvement!
