snippets code commenting and mentions not working

I created a private snippet with a team permissions.

1. Is there a way to comment on specific code lines (same as in PR)?

2. I'm failing to mention team members in the comments section (it says "found no matches for ...") for some reason.

As for mentions:

Have the same issue. I created a snippet and I would like to send an info about it to some users in our team (the snippet is restricted to our team). But when I press "@" in the comments filed, no user is offered. Why?
It works well in code or PR comments.
