Dear Bitbucket Support Team,
I am logging into Bitbucket using my old account (email: [Your Email]), which was created before the introduction of the workspace concept. Upon logging in, the web interface prompts me to create a new workspace, and I cannot find any of my previous repositories. I had several private repositories associated with this account, which I previously accessed using a Git App Password.
Could you please assist me in recovering my old repositories? Specifically, I would like to know:
Whether my repositories still exist and are associated with my account.
If they have been moved to a default workspace or another workspace during the migration to the workspace model.
Any steps I can take to locate or restore access to these repositories.
Please let me know if you need additional details, such as the approximate names or URLs of the repositories, or any other account information for verification.
Thank you for your help!
Hi @gouki_sun
Welcome to the community.
Could you confirm if you have access to your old email's inbox?
If yes, you can try to reset your password to regain access.
Let me know how it goes.
Regards,
Mark C
Hi Mark C,
Thank you for your response. I appreciate your suggestion to reset my password. However, I am able to log in to Bitbucket using my old email (gouki_sun@163.com) via my Atlassian account. The issue arises after I switch to Bitbucket, where the web interface prompts me to create a new workspace, and I cannot see my previous private repositories (accessed earlier with a Git App Password).
Could you please assist me further? Specifically:
Are my old repositories still associated with my account?
Were they migrated to a default workspace or another workspace during the transition to the workspace model?
What steps can I take to locate or access them?
Please let me know if you require additional details for verification.
Thank you for your help!
Best regards

Hi @gouki_sun
I checked that old account on my end, however, I didn't see any workspaces or repositories associated with it.
Could you confirm if you have other emails that you're using before?
You could also provide a sample repository URL where you can't access atm so I can check.
Regards,
Mark C
