Did you mean:

update from 4.7.5 to 5.9

Grzegorz_Pierzakowski April 6, 2018

Hi,

I did an upgrade and now server wont't start.

I mean it tries to start and then the ssl-plugin error appears:

Required plugin com.atlassian.stash.ssh-plugin has failed to start

I found the solution: https://confluence.atlassian.com/bitbucketserverkb/required-plugin-com-atlassian-stash-ssh-plugin-has-failed-to-start-is-displayed-when-accessing-the-bitbucket-server-web-interface-779171299.html

For 5 or 7 times the solution with stop, remove plugins cache and start worked.

But now it does not.

I have also tried the solution with small entrophy with no luck.

The server is running on dedicated VPS 4GM RAM, 2 CPUs.

I have got 5 developers, 11 not big repos.

Please help

Hey Grzegorz,

What Java properties do you have set? Did you try the other resolutions in that article? You may want to download a fresh installation directory and replace the current one in case you have a corrupted plugin.

Hi Ben,

I did manage to start BBS by killing other java software (jenkins). It seems they do not like each other. I think that it's a RAM problem on starting.

But I sill do not know why suddenly the ssh plugin malfunctions. This is a bit wierd.

I am still searching in logs:(
