Atlassian welcomes the Browser Company of New York to build an AI browser for knowledge work

Hi, Atlassian Community!

Today, we’re excited to share that we’ve entered into an agreement to acquire The Browser Company of New York, the team behind the incredible Dia and Arc browsers.

By combining The Browser Company’s passion for building browsers people love with Atlassian’s deep expertise on how the world’s best teams operate, we have the opportunity to transform how work gets done in the AI era.

It’s time for a browser that helps you do, not just browse.

Take a look at the announcement and below, a personal message from Mike Cannon-Brookes about why he’s stoked about this opportunity.

As always, Mike and the whole team would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

Incredible. And the new Jira UI/UX is still terrible, and there's no way to go back to the old one.

Interesting move! Trying it out and who knows might switch from Chrome.

It sure feels "snappy" :)

@marcinnowak sorry to hear you're not having a good experience! If you want to chat with the team about the Jira UX, they're in the New Navigation product feedback group and are open to feedback.
