@Bobbi no monetary awards but it establishes you in the community. you can then try for community champion and get free vouchers for certification and other goodies

@Partha Mandayam thanks for jumping in here! You are absolutely right. You can also be asked to join the Atlassian Authors program once you're Level 4 or above, and @Bridget can explain more about the rewards there, I think swag may involved.

@Bobbi-Lea Dionysius Welcome to the community! I've heard rumors that you get a T-shirt when you reach Level 9. I wouldn't know for sure because Level 9 doesn't exist. 😉

@Partha MandayamYes, I'm talking about the Steam gaming platform. It was just a joke. No, you do not have to pay for badges. But you can. And many people do it to gain Steam levels, which in turn give rewards. Why do people buy Steam trading cards?
