@Robert Lauriston that does seem odd. The only thing I can think of is that the badge requires you to start one thread and the badge was launched in February 2018.  You haven't started any threads since then. You could try asking a question or starting a discussion, or even join our Atlassian Authors program and write an article. (Clearly you have the expertise so we'd be happy to have you.)

@Kathleen Kenney the first rule of Level 9 is not to talk about Level 9. But you might be interested in taking a look at Jodi's badge collection... 😉

@Monique vdBI don't really care, I was just reporting this apparent bug / badly designed algorithm. I presume Atlassian will as usual take no action.

@Robert Lauriston ah okay. Well I am the community manager for this platform and I handle all the badges. So I am here to take action. If anyone else is seemingly "stuck" on level two, let me know and I can help troubleshoot.

Thank you for this overview. One note is that according to my profile I have earned Level 0 and 1 today, but my activity feed only shows Level 0. Perhaps there is just a lag but I wanted to highlight this.
