Mini kudos release notes: Bookmarker badge update | August 6 2025

UPDATE August 15: We've now resolved this issue, so you will once again be able to achieve the Bookmarker badge simply by viewing your bookmarks!

Hi there, Forums friends! 👋 

Just popping in to share an update to the Bookmarker kudos badge! 

We received a few reports of members having difficulty achieving the Bookmarker badge, and so we're currently investigating the original cause for this issue. 

In the meantime, we've updated the actions required to achieve the badge, which will enable you all to earn the Bookmarker badge 🙌

Earning the Bookmarker badge requires 2 actions: 

• Bookmark any content: you can do this by clicking on the ... button at the bottom of a piece of forums content, and then selecting Bookmark
  
  
  
• View your bookmarks, and then confirm that you've viewed them: to view your bookmarks, go to Forums Settings > My Bookmarks
  

To complete the challenge, you'll need to navigate to the Bookmarker challenge in the Kudos challenges list. You can now mark Confirm that you've viewed your bookmarks page as Complete! 

Once you've completed both actions, you will receive the Bookmarker badge and 30 kudos points! 

With this updated process, we hope to see lots of you achieving the badge soon! 💙

Thanks for adding the "Mark as Complete" link. By doing that I was able to get the long pending Bookmarker badge! 🤗

On a related note...any updates on improving the bookmarks handling itself?  For example, perhaps adding searching, naming, grouping, tagging, etc. to make finding what we saved easier.

I followed the new steps—bookmarking content and confirming I’ve viewed my bookmarks—and just earned the badge and points without any issues.
